♕ TENTH COMMAND | VIDEO

[The video opens to two badge cases, each with all eight Johto Gym Badges arranged neatly. The camera turns to focus on Archer then; he's smirking even more than usual, if that's even possible.]

If I'm not mistaken, I believe the previous record for earning all the Gym Badges was eleven months?

[It's not really a question. He remembers exactly what Mustang said.]

Kimblee and I have done it in eight.

[He'll give you all a moment to absorb that knowledge. Yes, yes, they're amazing, he knows~]

We're both seeking challenges from others who have gathered the Gym Badges. We both have teams at level 100, though we also have lowered-leveled Pokémon, if you're interested in challenging either of us. We would be interested in double battling as well, if any of you are interested.

[...Well, he would, at least. Sorry, Kimblee, you have no choice~]

We look forward to it.

[OOC: This is a double post! You'll receive replies from either Kimblee or Archer!]

Because there is another Team Rocket member in Olivine I take it?

Come now- all I have to do is ask around- you are not the most missable of men, comrade- let's not play games~

I am only asking to make sure all that happened was that Miss Farron was the sole target- I would hate for my poor Pyotr to get poisoned- he was tired enough as it was from getting here.

If I find something wrong with him, I want to know who is responsible. He is a worthwhile monster, as you should know- you raised his parents after all.
explosivecombat: (Be proud of what you do)

Actually, I know of at least one other who was there, to say nothing of the fact that several eyewitnesses can place me in Cianwood a few days after you saw me there - surely you don't think I remain in one place? Besides, have you ever known me not to take credit for something I've done? I've revealed my identity to you twice before after anonymous raids - and as you're the only one I offered that courtesy to at the time, by the way, I see no reason why I would refrain from telling you these things now.

But while we're speaking of not playing games, comrade, the poisoning seems to have been incredibly localized; I'd think there would have been less "a panicked post to the network by the target" and more "mass hysteria" had there been a widespread poisoning. It's a bit obvious that Miss Farron was, indeed, the sole target - so do me a favor and tell me why you're actually asking, hm?

I am asking because of our prior agreement.

As I have just found out recently, Miss Farron and my target know each other very well, and I would hate to think you were trying to hit two birds with one stone. People will do unspeakable things in sight of power, even breaking promises.

While it was localised, for all I know it could be less localised that Miss Farron has the network believing; she is egotistical and proud, and is far too concerned with her ego being bruised than actually looking for signs other than her own symptoms.

I said to you before so I say it again; I have a target to consider, and a monster in care in a facility that could be running a poisoned water supply. There is localised and then there is localised, comrade.

As for this other Rocket, well- I suppose I just have to find and question them also. Afterall, there seem to be so many secrets in this organisation I find myself drowning in them.

Because of that I am well within the belief that there may be a member that does not know that Ms. Mouse is my priority.

And please, you make it sound like I have told the world your torrid little dance with the women of Ecruteak. As you can plainly see I have told no-one, or you would be far less mobile than you are right now.

Ah, no, I think you misunderstand me - I'm well aware that you haven't, otherwise the consequences would have been brought down on your head long before now. The point is that I don't see any reason for you to suspect me of lying to you now, when I certainly haven't in the past. However, I will grant you that while I still say that I can't take credit for it, that doesn't mean that I did absolutely nothing. You have nothing to worry about regarding our agreement; I can assure you of that much.

I've actually spoken to your target twice already. She's a rather charming lady; very hospitable. Perhaps I'm fond.

You have a point- I suppose talking to Miss Farron has had some of her paranoia rub onto me.

Still, any information on this other rocket would be useful, all things considered. I like to know who is nearby should problems arise.

Or you could just hand me over to speak with him... I may be jumping guns but I am assuming this other Rocket is the other half of your duo? The breeder from before?

[You just seem close, that's all. He can't tell how close, but there's definitely something there.

The admission to talking to Minnie brings some colour to his cheeks, but thankfully it's mostly covered by his long drabs of fringe and side burns.]

She is a very charming woman, yes, especially considering her situation.

I am currently at her home as we speak.

[He goes to talk about his bugging the place, and trying to get into Lightning's room there, but he bites his tongue- if you guys can have secrets then fuck it, he can have them too.]

It is... quaint to say the least.
explosivecombat: (I love girls like that!)

"Quaint" is how I would describe it, yes. She showed me that place she's keeping; she offered me somewhere to stay, something to eat. Given that you seem to understand war at least as well as I do, I think you know how quickly those sorts of things endear people to soldiers.

She's a bit overtrusting, perhaps, but not a bad person at all. Rather sweet.

As for Archer...whether you're jumping the gun or not, you're correct in that assumption; we've worked together for a while.

[He doesn't seem terribly inclined to hand that 'Gear over to anyone, however.]

He had nothing to do with this attack against Lightning; he had to personally order the information out of me, really. I take assignments from others as it suits me to do so. Freelance work, if you will.
meatysoviet: (This is a gloat? I never noticed~)

[personal profile] meatysoviet 2012-06-14 12:44 am (UTC)(link)
... So you did do it.

You just did not do it for your own gains is what you are saying.

[Because that is what you just said, isn't it Kimblee?

He can circle back round to how fucking cute Minnie is in a minute.]

explosivecombat: (I like the way you think)

[personal profile] explosivecombat 2012-06-14 12:47 am (UTC)(link)
Precisely - while I do have my own reasons for acting as I do, very little of it is directly for my own gain.

I've nothing against Miss Farron myself, really.
meatysoviet: (A drink in my off time)

[personal profile] meatysoviet 2012-06-14 01:18 am (UTC)(link)
[That's fine, he can completely relate to that.]

Very well. There is no more reason to dwell on it.

Not for now anyway.

[Because it's benefiting you somehow Kimblee, he just hasn't figured out how yet.]

Apart from an egotistical little thing she doesn't seem so bad~

I still prefer Ms. Mouse however- at least with her you know there is no pretense.
explosivecombat: (I haven't the vaguest where he's gone)

[personal profile] explosivecombat 2012-06-14 06:49 pm (UTC)(link)
A surprising number of people are like that here, actually; they're all so...horribly naive. They don't seem to realize that trusting so easily is a good way to get yourself killed.
