♕ EIGHTH COMMAND | VIDEO - PRIVATE TO ROCKETS | VIDEO / ACTION [ROUTE 34]
[The video opens to a neatly arranged pile of eggs. They're sitting all across a bed - one Team Rocket members may recognize as being in the base. The camera pans slowly over the eggs before moving out to focus on all of them. Archer's voice cuts in smoothly, though he doesn't appear in the frame.]
Good afternoon, my fellow members of Team Rocket. [You can practically hear the smirk.] I've come to you all today to offer you a deal. I'm sure many of you have heard of the Breeding Center outside of Goldenrod, correct? I would be interested in starting a competing business - one catered to the needs of our organization.
[The video turns to Archer then. He's sitting crossed-legged on one of the chairs, smirking. Sitting beside him is a Persian, who has her head rested next to his legs. In typical super-villain fashion, he's petting her head and attempting to sound menacing. Whether or not it works is really up to the viewer. The over-the-top haminess might be killing things just a little bit though.]
I would like to offer every member of Team Rocket one free egg. I specialize in finding unique combinations of egg moves to breed onto a Pokémon, as well as Pokémon the Breeding Center doesn't have in stock. Unfortunately, I would like to make some money off of this - any other eggs you may be interested in will cost money.
The following list contains all the Pokémon, egg moves, and prices. Please get back to me as soon as possible to receive the egg you want. It is first come, first serve, and I'm afraid I don't have a great number of these.
[Archer's smirk widens and he moves to fold his hands in his lap.] Thank you for your time.
[With that, the feed ends and a moment later, a list goes out containing all the information Archer specified.]
[After he's sent the eggs out to the members of Team Rocket, Archer opens the video feed back up again, panning slowly over the remaining eggs.]
I'm selling several Pokémon eggs. I'll send a list out shortly containing information on the species, egg moves, and prices. Thank you in advance.
[Sure enough, that same list will hit the network a few minutes later!]
[If you're wandering out just south of Goldenrod City later tonight, you might notice a bit of an odd sight. Archer is out training his Pokémon. Five Pokémon stand before him
Arbiter, Isolani, Caïssa, Blitz, Epaulette... I believe it's time we did a little more with our training, wouldn't you agree?
[Each Pokémon reacts to the words differently, but the overwhelming sense of anxiety is present. Whatever it is Archer's up to, it isn't something the Pokémon want to do.]
Of course you would. Now then, Arbiter.
[The Drapion steps forward, swinging his headarms into a fighting stance.]
Attack me.
[The command is abrupt and cold, though Archer's smirk never fades. The Drapion hesitates - the fight leaving it almost immediately. Pokémon don't attack humans normally - this isn't something they're supposed to do. They are never supposed to harm their trainer. Archer doesn't seem to mind, and he moves on.]
Isolani, then? [The Gengar shrinks further into the shadows.] Caïssa? [The Luxray growls and sparks, but she doesn't attack.] Blitz? Epaulette? [The Jolteon and Vaporeon huddle together and shy away from Archer's gaze.]
Pathetic.
[The single word is sharp and all five Pokémon flinch. The reprimands for disobeying their trainer are horrible. They've seen what happens to those Pokémon who don't earn Archer's favor. It isn't pretty.]
I intend to train all five of you - but if you can't even attack a human, how useful will you be? Attack me.
[The Drapion moves then, firing off a Pin Missile attack. It's a weak attack as it is, but humans aren't meant to take Pokémon attacks.]
[That doesn't matter though - the attack doesn't connect with Archer. He doesn't move at all, but suddenly the attack is repelled, bouncing off an invisible forcefield around him. He smirks.]
Excellent. Alekhine!
[His sixth Pokémon teleports into view then. The Alakazam is Archer's favorite; he's had it for several months and it has been trained to protect him at even the slightest indication. The other five Pokémon seem to heave a collective sigh of relief.]
How far away were you? [The Alakazam doesn't give any verbal response, but it seems he's communicating with his trainer anyway. Archer nods, smirking.] Perfect. Using Protect at such a large range will certainly be useful.
[Not like he's planning on getting himself separated from his Alakazam, but it's better to be safe than sorry. Archer turns to the other five Pokémon.]
Again! I want to see what you all are capable of!
[Each of the five Pokémon will take their turns firing off attacks at their trainer. The Alakazam looks rather bored as he repels them all with Protect.]
[...Needless to say, Archer's methods of training are a bit on the crazy side.]

It's one of those rare days when Descole is actually outside - he's given up on training the useless eggthing for now, and has moved on to working with his Metagross again. The disturbance nearby is something that Master Spectre alerts him to almost immediately; while having some sort of...bizarre psychic link with the damn creature still isn't anything that Descole is accustomed to, orders to attack humans are something that he isn't exactly taking terribly lightly at the moment, given the circumstances.
...however, the reality of what's actually going on once Descole gets there is both less threatening and more bizarre than he'd expected. Uh. Well then.]
Certainly unorthodox, aren't you.
[That is not a question. Not a question at all what in the good hell are you even doing, sir]
no subject
[Archer still looks calm and collected, but there's something off in his gaze, and it's not the fact that he's staring over your right shoulder, Descole. He thoroughly enjoys training like this. It's fun, and it does come with the risk of danger, should his Alakazam not react quickly enough. Said Alakazam is currently studying the Metagross, but he dismisses it after a moment. You're not a threat, dude.]
And what brings you out here so late? Training?
[He nods to the Metagross - it's smaller than he thought it would be, actually. Sort of like you, Descole.]

That was quite the impresssive display! Quite the impressive display indeed! And what a generous offer! I'm sssure that's going to earn you quite the reputation around here!
[Okay, he's going to stop throwing random praise at Archer while he skims the list. No, no, what the heck is that? Or that one? Is that even a Pokemon? Wait, there we go. That one's perfect!]
One Scyther, please.
Why thank you. I figured I might as well do something for the organization.
[...Like he totally hasn't been already~
And he'll have you know those are all Pokémon, thank you very much!!]Of course. Is that the only one you're interested in? I can suggest a few others that might be interesting to raise.
[...Let's face it, Cobra. You're a bro. Archer is willing to lose some money on this deal and hand you some free things just to suck up to you a bit more~]

Magnificent. I commend your spirit of entrepreneurship. I suppose you will write periodical reports on these breeding experiments of yours, correct? The scientific division will be delighted to receive them.
May I have the Beldum? I will also purchase one Eevee. Far be it from me to withhold my support, when your initiative is so noteworthy.
[...maybe.]
Ah, would you? I suppose I can part with some of my notes.
[GORTHAN DO YOU REALLY WANT THEM]
[HE HAS TWO NOTEBOOKS FILLED ALREADY]
[AND HE HAS NO INTENTION OF STOPPING HIS TL;DR]
Of course, I'll send both of them over right away. Do you know what you plan on evolving the Eevee into?
[Of course he has to be careful about this; two of those evolved forms he's seen were stolen from the Kimono Girls. The two Eevees went to Kimblee - they're now a Flareon and a Leafeon. He owns a Glaceon, Jolteon, and Vaporeon, and Kimblee's raising two Eevees to evolve into an Espeon and Umbreon. So yes, they're attempting to collect them all.]

Haruki, the recently left behind Vulpix begins to growl at the sight on the route. Quite quickly his Gloom perks up from by his leg, unhappy at the breaking of moral rules that's going on.]
He~y... [He bends to pet and calm down the Vulpix, his Vileplume tending to calm down the Gloom as per usual.
He can't help but find the sight disturbing though, and finds himself staring. Why would anyone teach their Pokémon to attack a human?]
[Action]
Good evening.
[The greeting is calm - a sharp contrast to the wild look in his eyes. His expression is otherwise perfectly composed.]
What brings you out here so late. Training?
[He nods to the Pokémon.]
[text - rocket line]
Free? So what's the catch?
I'm interested, regardless. Just curious.
[text - rocket line]
There is no catch. I figured it would be much easier to gain buyers in the future by spreading the word through our organization. Is there a particular one you're interested in?

Questions first, though!]
Why sell the first egg free of charge, if it's meant to be a business with established competition? Believe me, I'm not complaining. If not for the facilities set up for us, I'm pretty sure I would be scraping the bottom of the barrel already.
[Archer isn't familiar with everyone in Team Rocket, but this one doesn't look familiar. Either he's been hanging out somewhere other than Goldenrod, or he's brand new.]
I wanted to spread word of this through our organization before taking my ideas public. If it only has Team Rocket's support, then I'm perfectly fine with that. I believe having a breeding center that Rocket members can go to would be far more beneficial than any potential loss of income, correct?
[...Besides, have you seen the prices on the things Kimblee bred? Archer enjoys selling the things with the crazy egg moves for insane amounts~]

Certainly. There are four different egg move sets - only Protect; Protect and Iron Tail; Protect, Charge, and Swagger; and Protect, Fake Out, and Nasty Plot. Which one of those would interest you?

Do you have any Grass-Types among those?
[Give him a moment, he'll hold up a pink egg for you!]
This is a Deerling - I don't have it with me right now, but they're unique Pokémon that change colors with the seasons.
[At least, that's what he's assuming. Kimblee's changed colors so...]
They come knowing Energy Ball - a powerful Grass-type move - Return, Safeguard, and Rest.

Get me that and I will be more than grateful.

[And this is coming from someone who works at the Breeding Center.]
Let's see... It seems I just missed out on the exploding Onix eggs, but could I reserve a spot for next month? I'll even pay double for it.
In the meantime, though, I'd like to take a Deerling egg.
and didn't spend it all on eggs from the Breeding Center/TMs/who knows what elsethen he'd employ you here!]Unfortunately, but yes, I'll get you one next month.
[...Kimblee, you're going to help him with this whether you like it or not.]
Certainly. I'll send it over right away. Thank you.

Interesting way of training.
[action]
I suppose you could say that. It is the most efficient way to ensure my Pokémon will respond to my commands in a crisis, regardless of whether or not that involves attacking humans.

A Shinx egg? I was told they were rare. [ Not so much she's come to see thanks to the art of breeding, but Avalon could use a friend. ] Eevee eggs as well. Do you intend to get rid of all the eggs you have for travel or do you have a limit?

[Are they rare? He's not entirely sure. He can play that up if they are, however!]
I can't keep them all, unfortunately. If I can't sell them, I'll see if I can find suitable homes for them with a friend.
