[A private text comes across the Rocket network late at night, accompanied by quite a few pictures. The pictures don't include any people or Pokémon, but it should be very obvious where they were taken, should you be familiar with the Gyms in Mahogany Town and Blackthorn City. Both Gyms seem to have been taken down by a variety of attacks. The trainers have been defeated as well, though they don't seem to be badly injured, just unconscious. Following the stream of pictures is a short text.]

I expected better of you, Rockets. You haven't put your powers to good use.

((OOC: Archer and Kimblee have attacked both the Mahogany Gym and the Blackthorn Gym. This is mod approved! They're long gone from both cities and won't be caught just yet. Archer will reply anonymously to any Rockets who reply to the message!))

How positively ominous of you! To say nothing of pointlessly destructive; I do have to say that I approve of what you're doing.

...whatever "what you're doing" consists of, that is; hopefully you managed to get a decent reward out of all that effort, rather than just beating people up for funsies. I mean, don't get me wrong - hedonism is a decent reward for some, the joys of sadism, et cetera, et cetera - but really, if that's what it takes, then you may have more problems than you realize. In my opinion, anyway.

I honestly couldn't care less one way or the other - I've just been pointed in the direction of a few people in this place whose work is...well, more or less what you've posted here.

Officially, however? Ranged weaponry. Specializing in guns, though I can improvise with quite literally anything along those lines.

Unfortunately there aren't any guns in Johto, as I'm sure you've figured out already. But that does sound quite interesting; you can use any sort of ranged weapon?

I'll admit that many of the...mechanical advancements in this world are rather new to me; however, there's one thing that I'm confident hasn't changed - hand me a weapon that's capable of being shot and I'll be the most proficient shot you've ever seen.

That's not an exaggeration, by the way - I have yet to miss a shot. Ever.

A mercenary? Of course not - entirely too much honor in that lot; they may be rogues on the outside, but internally? They still have that...warrior's code whatnot that they adhere to, very boring, very restrictive.

No, no, I was known as the king of pirates back in Albion - I still technically have the title, you know - before turning to somewhat more...acceptable business practices. In a strictly legal sense, of course; I was still putting that gun to rather good use in securing my position of power.

It certainly sounds like you'll be a difficult one to entertain. It should be difficult to get your hands on any sort of weapon here - not to mention weapons will be confiscated if they're found - but should you get ahold of one, I would like to see just what you're capable of.

Get me a weapon and a port town, and I'll be glad to show you exactly how I got that title - I'd be more than willing to take a ship or two for this little...group of yours in the name of a bit of fun.

There are two port towns - Olivine City here in Johto and Vermillion City in Kanto. Both are fairly populated areas, but I doubt anyone would be prepared for a raid on the ships. As far as weapons go, almost everyone uses Pokemon exclusively. You won't find any weapons in any of the shops, but that doesn't mean weapons can't be constructed. I suggest looking at the Pokemon themselves and seeing if there's anything you could possibly make use of. I'll see if I can get it for you.
