I've been in Johto for one year.

[Yes, this is a very important announcement. Archer doesn't look up at the camera, instead continuing to toy with Kann's anntenae.]

To those of you who have been here for quite some time, have you decided that you want to stay here? Why or why not?

[To those of you familiar with Archer, he seems quite a bit distant today. The fact that he's not looking at the camera is one sure sign, but he's also looking a little... down, for lack of a better word. He's not even trying to be threatening. This must be a first!]

I'd appreciate any opinions, even from those of you who haven't been here for very long.

[He gestures airily and the Alakazam running the 'Gear turns it off.]

[ ACTION - MAHOGANY TOWN, TEAM ROCKET BASE ]

[Should you find yourself in Mahogany Town today and you decide to explore the Team Rocket Base (which really shouldn't be all that difficult to find if you know what you're looking for), you'll find that the place is rigged with Voltorbs that will explode as soon as they enter a battle. They're not the only threat, however! There are five Psychic-types just waiting beyond there, all with orders to attack any intruders. They're also high leveled, but don't worry! They'll at least let their trainer know before attacking you!

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to enter the base and either defeat the Psychic-types or persuade them to keep from attacking! Show them you mean no harm and they won't hurt you! After all, there might be something valuable or useful inside that base ~~probably not~~...

Archer is holed up in a room inside the base (Kimblee's old room, to be specific), still amusing himself by playing with Kann, the ridiculously powerful Venipede. Feel free to come bother him!]

One year? Congratulations, Archer. It's rare that sssomeone I actually enjoy working with makes it to that mark.

As to your second question...

I don't want to ssstay here permanently. I want to take over thisss world, then return to my own and finishing conquering that one. Until that happens, I'm willing to ssstay here for as long as it takes!

[He actually will smirk at that! He still seems a bit out of it, but that certainly does help!]

Your perseverance is admirable. I suppose it doesn't matter how long it takes you here, since time has stopped back home. What will you do after you've conquered this world - assuming we still don't know how to return home?

Rule it of course. And invest in research that will lead to any sssort of technology that can take me back home to conquer there!

[And if it doesn't work, then oh well. Not like Cobra Commander has a problem with wasting billions of dollars.]

What about you Archer? What's your opinion on ssstaying here versus returning?

I believe I will stay here. Unfortunately, my world doesn't offer me as many opportunities as this one does.

[That's true enough, but what he's not mentioning is that it's his own fault. For you know, sending seven thousand men into a very obvious trap and getting them all killed. Whoops.]

[And don't let things like failure stand in your way! Cobra doesn't, so he feels that neither should anyone else.]

It's not quite that simple, I'm afraid. My world isn't run by those who are the most powerful. It's run by a select group of people. I've recently fallen out of their favor, unfortunately.

Gather what support you have, remove them from the equation, and take power for yourself! That's what I would do!

I don't exactly have many supporters in my world. In fact, the few I thought I had either turned against me or died.

Unless you come from sssome sort of perfect utopia, find people disillusioned with the current order and use them to topple it.

...I suppose that could be done... It would be incredibly difficult, but it's certainly something worth looking into.

[It still won't beat the opportunities he has here, but someday he will be returned home and when that day comes, he'll at least have some idea of what to do.]

And if I may offer a suggestion? You are military, correct? Check there. You'd be ssssurprised at how many current and former military men can be tired of the way things are and want change. And the best part is, you won't even have to waste any money training them!

That's a very valid point. I do know of a few who disagree with the way things are run now.
