[The video feed opens to Archer playing with a Venipede. Said Venipede is glaring at the camera - how dare it take his trainer's attention away!]

I've been in Johto for one year.

[Yes, this is a very important announcement. Archer doesn't look up at the camera, instead continuing to toy with Kann's anntenae.]

To those of you who have been here for quite some time, have you decided that you want to stay here? Why or why not?

[To those of you familiar with Archer, he seems quite a bit distant today. The fact that he's not looking at the camera is one sure sign, but he's also looking a little... down, for lack of a better word. He's not even trying to be threatening. This must be a first!]

I'd appreciate any opinions, even from those of you who haven't been here for very long.

[He gestures airily and the Alakazam running the 'Gear turns it off.]

[ ACTION - MAHOGANY TOWN, TEAM ROCKET BASE ]

[Should you find yourself in Mahogany Town today and you decide to explore the Team Rocket Base (which really shouldn't be all that difficult to find if you know what you're looking for), you'll find that the place is rigged with Voltorbs that will explode as soon as they enter a battle. They're not the only threat, however! There are five Psychic-types just waiting beyond there, all with orders to attack any intruders. They're also high leveled, but don't worry! They'll at least let their trainer know before attacking you!

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to enter the base and either defeat the Psychic-types or persuade them to keep from attacking! Show them you mean no harm and they won't hurt you! After all, there might be something valuable or useful inside that base ~~probably not~~...

Archer is holed up in a room inside the base (Kimblee's old room, to be specific), still amusing himself by playing with Kann, the ridiculously powerful Venipede. Feel free to come bother him!]

It's been a while since Zulf has spoken to Archer; he's a bit curious as to what came of their last conversation, dealing with Archer's...horrendously creepy friend, but there are clearly more important things here - he's coming off a bit strangely, and as such he isn't going to just jump him with questions.

The feed is a bit dark, the light source nearby bouncing around a little - clearly he's using Squirt's antennae to light the...wherever he is. It's a bit claustrophobic looking, judging by how tight the corner is over there, but Zulf doesn't seem to mind.

...yeah he's been down in this well shoving Antidotes at Slowpokes for the last god knows how long.]

I'll stay for as long as I'm allowed; this place is beautiful and comes with many opportunities, and I'm beginning to think that my services might be something useful around here eventually.

What about you, if I can ask?

That depends on if we're given a choice. We can want to stay, but that doesn't mean that's what's going to happen.

One year? Congratulations, Archer. It's rare that sssomeone I actually enjoy working with makes it to that mark.

As to your second question...

[Cobra trails off, thinking it over.]

I don't want to ssstay here permanently. I want to take over thisss world, then return to my own and finishing conquering that one. Until that happens, I'm willing to ssstay here for as long as it takes!

[[Archer's appearance on the feed makes Armstrong curious; not so much because of what he's asking, but how he looks. The Major isn't overly familiar with the man but he's sensitive enough to know when someone isn't feeling all that good.]]

There is a great beauty to this place that I feel I will miss dearly, but the thought of never returning home is a terrifying one.

[[He misses his friends and family, okay.]]

However, separation from my Pokemon will be heartbreaking.

I'd stay, if I had the choice to.

[It surprises him how quickly he's able to decide. He hasn't thought about it in a while, but maybe he'd decided a while ago without realizing. He shrugs.]

But I don't think I'd be going back to Amestris even if I did leave.

Kimblee has actually been true to his word, remaining as close to Archer as possible for the last few days; however, some time to himself is necessary once in a while, and he's taken to training a decent distance from the base. He can return if he has to, but...]

Do you require my assistance, or will you be all right for the next few hours?

I'd go back if if the option presented itself, since I have my job to return to. Even after two years, it's not like I'm attached to the world itself aside from my Pokemon...

Though I would want to bring my girlfriend back with me if I could... We're from close enough times and the same place, so it doesn't seem like a stretch.

I don't quite see the point in asking about this, given that we don't have much of a choice in the matter. Regardless, if I were given the option, I wouldn't hesitate to return home. As amusing a diversion as this place can be at times, it's ultimately far too irritating for my liking. I have far more important things to be doing than wasting my time here, even if there won't be any noticeable discrepancy when I am finally returned to my world.

[He didn't think about this for very long.]

I'd choose to go back.

[No matter how fond of this world he is, Atsuro have a job to do. He can't leave it unfinished forever.]

I for sure want to stay. I didn't have much going for me back home anyway.

[To be honest, it's something Crow chooses not to think about too much, because then it would lead to some heart-breaking conclusions one way or another and wouldn't either guarantee him staying here or a ticket back home, so...]

To be honest, I never really thought about it - I just assumed that everyone here wanted to go home. I mean, sure, this place is nice and all, but we've left a lot behind, too. I can't think of anyone who'd want to abandon everything like that.

[He's gotten a chance to get away from Kairi, Riku and everyone else for a little bit. And then this question...

A frown tugs at his lips and he responds, almost too darkly.]

No. I don't wish to stay here. I'm an incredibly busy woman, and, as lovely as this small vacation has been, it's been quite troublesome to get the things I need done in Amestris. [ And now it's time to test the loyalty of some vaguely assholish person she met six months ago.

This shall be fun! ] I'm curious to see your stance on it, as a fellow Amestrian. [ IS HE GOING TO LINGER AND PLAY POKÉMON FOR LIFE??? ONLY TIME WILL TELL.... ]
