♕ TWELFTH COMMAND | VIDEO / ACTION [MAHOGANY TOWN, TEAM ROCKET BASE]
[The video feed opens to Archer playing with a Venipede. Said Venipede is glaring at the camera - how dare it take his trainer's attention away!]
I've been in Johto for one year.
[Yes, this is a very important announcement. Archer doesn't look up at the camera, instead continuing to toy with Kann's anntenae.]
To those of you who have been here for quite some time, have you decided that you want to stay here? Why or why not?
[To those of you familiar with Archer, he seems quite a bit distant today. The fact that he's not looking at the camera is one sure sign, but he's also looking a little... down, for lack of a better word. He's not even trying to be threatening. This must be a first!]
I'd appreciate any opinions, even from those of you who haven't been here for very long.
[He gestures airily and the Alakazam running the 'Gear turns it off.]
[Should you find yourself in Mahogany Town today and you decide to explore the Team Rocket Base (which really shouldn't be all that difficult to find if you know what you're looking for), you'll find that the place is rigged with Voltorbs that will explode as soon as they enter a battle. They're not the only threat, however! There are five Psychic-types just waiting beyond there, all with orders to attack any intruders. They're also high leveled, but don't worry! They'll at least let their trainer know before attacking you!
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to enter the base and either defeat the Psychic-types or persuade them to keep from attacking! Show them you mean no harm and they won't hurt you! After all, there might be something valuable or useful inside that base
Archer is holed up in a room inside the base (Kimblee's old room, to be specific), still amusing himself by playing with Kann, the ridiculously powerful Venipede. Feel free to come bother him!]

It's not something Archer wants to think about. Kimblee would never have given up on life.]
Good.
[It takes him a moment, but he finally attempts to relax again, though he doesn't lean in to Kimblee just yet. He's rather aware that the shift in mood was sudden and from Kimblee's expression, it certainly wasn't appreciated.]
As I've told you before, you're very important to me.
[That's all he'll offer for the time being, but he's trying to set things back to the status quo.]

At the same time, he still isn't entirely sure what to do with Archer's prior outburst; it's even more clear that this has upset him now that he's trying to calm down and isn't quite managing it. He has to wonder what it says about him, if anything - the fact that he's surprised that Archer is taking this so badly. It's something that he's known for quite some time; his primary function has always been as a weapon of war. When weapons are no longer useful, they're decommissioned; it makes sense that he would be discarded if he was no longer able to provide his services to others. It's the natural way of things; it's the way things had been with the Homunculi.
The idea that others might not think like that is strange. Foreign. He doesn't know what to think of it, though he supposes it might be a nice concept.]
You've mentioned that before, yes.
[And then he's back to playing with Archer's hair; if Archer wants to continue, he imagines he will.
He's being incredibly confusing today.]

[There really isn't anything else to say as far as he's concerned, though from the look Kimblee's giving him it's clear that there's something on his mind. Archer hesitates - he's not sure Kimblee will tell him, not after an outburst like that. He's been a bit too excitable today, hasn't he? Kimblee's not used to that. Hell, Archer's not used to that. If it's coming across as strange, then Kimblee probably won't want to open up to him. But there's no sense in wondering without trying, is there?]
...Is everything alright?
[The question is more awkward than it needs to be and Archer sounds almost unsure of himself. Almost.]
