[The video opens to a nondescript room, focused on nine different types of eggs, all neatly propped up by pillows. Curled around the eggs is a sleepy-looking Persian, who seems rather annoyed that her nap has been interrupted by the video. Archer isn't in the shot.]

I have been experimenting with Pokémon breeding. Sheska has assisted me. These are the results.

[To those who actually know Archer, the strange, clipped speech might seem a bit odd. He hasn't been feeling well lately, no big deal!]

The following Pokémon are available for sale: Shinx, Murkrow, Zubat, Porygon, Hoothoot, Mime Jr, Pawniard, Litwick, and Audino. I also have two hatched Onixes for sale. The majority of these have egg moves as well. If you're interested, I can give you the prices. Thank you for your time.

[Archer's smirking though; he looks a little worn, but the smirk is as confident as usual, at least!]

I have other things to do with my time. It's merely a passing interest.

[Except that's kind of a lie. He'd like to breed all the powerful things! The edge in Envy's voice doesn't go unnoticed.]

How was your Valentine's Day, Victor?

[The name is stressed a bit more than the rest of the sentence, but Archer doesn't look bothered. He's certain that he's worked out just what Envy is after all; he's quite fond of having something to blackmail Homunculi with~ After all, look what he got out of Pride back home! A promotion, a war to run, two reinstatements for Kimbley and Tucker...]

[Envy notices that Archer looks worn, and wonders about it, but his focus is elsewhere right now. He knows that Archer is from his world, and knows what a homunculus is, but not how much else. And while he's not nearly so concerned about his identity in Johto as he would be back home, he'd rather avoid trouble.]

It was...interesting. Especially that conversation we were having.

I didn't think I'd get off so easy. Which one are you?

[It's better not to reveal just how much he knows about the Homunculi - what he does know certainly can't be enough.]

Your secret is safe with me. I have no interest in telling the whole of Johto what you are. What good would that do anyway? You can't do anything here, can you?

[He actually isn't being condescending. It's a question.]

[Envy smirks back before turning on the filter. Because there could be other Amestrians listening. ...he does frown at the mention of his power loss; it's still a bit of a sore spot with him even if he has adapted. He's not nearly as frowny as he'd be if Archer had been condescending, though.]

If by that you mean I don't have powers a human wouldn't, you'd be right.

[But then he's got the smirk back on, as though he was never irritated in the first place. It's difficult to tell if that's a front or if his mood really did just change that fast.]

But you can go ahead and call me Envy. [His name isn't exactly uncommon knowledge in Johto, after all, but he doesn't have to let Archer know that right this second. And it is true that he's finding Archer more interesting over this.]
