[The video opens to a nondescript room, focused on nine different types of eggs, all neatly propped up by pillows. Curled around the eggs is a sleepy-looking Persian, who seems rather annoyed that her nap has been interrupted by the video. Archer isn't in the shot.]

I have been experimenting with Pokémon breeding. Sheska has assisted me. These are the results.

[To those who actually know Archer, the strange, clipped speech might seem a bit odd. He hasn't been feeling well lately, no big deal!]

The following Pokémon are available for sale: Shinx, Murkrow, Zubat, Porygon, Hoothoot, Mime Jr, Pawniard, Litwick, and Audino. I also have two hatched Onixes for sale. The majority of these have egg moves as well. If you're interested, I can give you the prices. Thank you for your time.

[Archer will actually appear in the video this time. He looks like he hasn't gotten any sleep, but from the dim lighting it's rather clear that he's trying to hide that fact. His usual smirk is very tense; though whether that's because he's dealing with Hughes after that fiasco or because of other factors is unclear. It's probably a combination of both.]

Yes, she's been assisting me in my research. She's been very helpful. How have you been?

[There's a slight hesitation there, as if he's not sure whether to call Hughes by name or go with "sir." He doesn't go with either and the question ends a bit awkwardly. He's still smirking and trying to pretend everything is normal though!]

[ He notices the awkward and might even be feeling a bit concerned... but he won' be direct about it. ]

Ah, yes! She is quite helpful, isn't she?

I've been doing quite well! And you? Are you back in Goldenrod now?

Yes she is.

[Archer doesn't respond to the personal questions right away, instead glancing off-screen somewhere. He's not looking at anything in particular, just thinking.]

Yes, I'm in Goldenrod. I've been doing well.

[The latter is a blatant lie, but he'll deliver it with the usual smirk. You totally believe him, right?]

[ No... ]

Ah! Excellent. How about some coffee, then, Colonel? It has been a while, hasn't it?

[ ... Have you been avoiding him? ]

[...Maybe...]

I'm afraid I'll pass. I have other things to attend to here.

[Like playing with his cats and being melodramatic about the loss of his best friend. :|]

[ You forget who you're talking to, Archer. The king of not listening to people and doing what he wants...

In fact, he's already gotten up and has started moving somewhere. He's exiting his apartment. And then, suddenly,

PICTURES OF ELICIA. Lots of them. And a lot of story telling. And no, he isn't going to let you hang up on him. If you do, he'll just call right back. Distracted, are we?

... Suddenly, he's stopped talking. Stopped walking. Aaaaand... have a knock on your door. ]

[Hughes, how do you do this? Archer never has any issues being rude to people. He could just hang up on you. Every time he tries though... Suddenly more pictures! When was the last time you stopped to take a breath?]

[There isn't much background in the feed for Archer to study; he's not aware that Hughes is even in the base, much less at his door. The knock on the door and the sudden pause in the feed is enough for Archer to ever-so-politely hang up.]

[Alright, now who the hell is bothering him? One of the Executives? He opens the door and his expression goes from mildly annoyed to ridiculously unimpressed in the span of a second.]

...Hughes. What are you doing here?

[ Taking a step inside before he answers that question, because... knowing you, you might slam the door in his face. ]

It's been so long, I figured I'd save you the trouble of visiting me and just go ahead and pay you a visit!

[Archer sighs, pressing his fingers to his temples and shutting the door behind Hughes.]

There's no reason for that, Hughes. What do you want?

I can't even pay my fellow co-workers a visit once in a while without wanting something?

[ And while he's saying this, he's gonna go rummage through your cabinets. Thankfully, it doesn't take long to find everything he needs to make some coffee.

Meanwhile, Elsie, his Eevee, is just going to come sit by your feet, Archer. And smile at you a lot. Pet her pet her.... you know you want to... ]

[Archer linefaces mightily, but he allows Hughes to do what he wants without complaint. He does lean down to pet Elsie - but she's not the only Eevee in the room. Archer's three Eeveelutions are around here somewhere-- Ah! There's Romy the Glaceon, Blitz the Jolteon, and Epaulette the Vaporeon. They'll come over to play with Elsie and rub on Hughes' legs (thankfully that's Romy and not Blitz).]

You didn't have to come visit me, Hughes.

[Besides, this isn't even his room. There isn't anything here to mark it as Kimblee's, but... Well. It's still awkward.]

[ Oh my goooosh... all these shiny Eeveelutions... Elsie is just gonna forget about Archer and go play with them.

And yes, thankfully Glaceons aren't sharp and don't shoot thunderbolts... ]

[ He's just going to stand by the stove and wait for the water to boil as he talks to Archer. ]

Well, you certainly weren't going to visit me!

Plus, I was out of coffee!

[ A lie. But, you know, whatever. ]

You didn't have to come bother me for coffee.

[Though you could get it for free this way... Dammit, Hughes, don't be so cheap!]

[The Eeveelutions will happily play with Elsie! They're normally stuck playing with Archer, who gets bored easily anyway.]

And of course I wasn't going to visit you. I haven't been interested in going to visit anyone.

[ ~~bother bother bother bother~~

He's turned around to pull out two mugs, now. ]

And why's that?

[ Said very casually. ]

Because I haven't had any interest in seeing anyone.

[He's frowning now; he's not entirely sure how to explain it without going into detail as to why he's been feeling so down lately. He doesn't want to talk about it.]

[ He's silent for a few minutes.

He doesn't start talking again until after he shoves a cup of coffee in Archer's direction. ]

Had a rough day, Colonel?

[Archer takes the coffee with a sigh. There's no getting out of this, is there?]

...I suppose you could say that.

[He's not going to just start talking though. You'll have to push a bit harder, sorry Hughes!]

[ ... Do you want him to start shoving pictures of Elicia into your face, Archer? ]

You know what would cheer anyone up~?

[ Hold on, digging into his bag for that album of his... ]

[ALKMEMRKWNEKLSK ABORT, ABORT!!]

Yes, yes, I know. Elicia. That's quite alright, Hughes, I've seen enough pictures of her today.

[Or you know, for his entire lifetime. orz]

[ Then start talking, Archer. ]

Oh, but looking at them again won't hurt, right?

[Hughes, he's starting to think you know how much everyone hates being forced to look at pictures and you're just using them to get deets...]

...Kimblee's gone.

[That might have come right the fuck out of nowhere, but he's willing to add onto it after a moment.]

He left right after the masquerade. I haven't seen him since.

[ Nope. He just thinks Elicia would cheer you up.

But oh look, you're talking. And he'll pause the pictures for a second. ]

... Gone?

[ No, but Archer... you do realize you have a life outside of Kimblee, right? .... .... Right...? ]

[What is this "life" you speak of?]

He left. He went travelling with an alchemist from your version of Amestris and a girl from "London." The one he took to the masquerade.

[Also the one he slept with, but Archer's not bitter about that at all, nope!! c:]

[ ... Oh right. He's talking to Archer... ]

[ He is all the confused right now. What's the big deal here...? ]
