♕ NINTH COMMAND | ACTION [OLIVINE CITY] | FOURTH WALL
[If you happen to be exploring Olivine City today, you may run into Archer. That's really not all that unusual - contrary to popular belief, he does spend some time outdoors (some being the key word there) - but what's striking about it is... well, the insane number of cats following him.]
Where did you all even come from...?
[They're all the little cats rather than the larger ones. That means there's a herd of wild Meowth, Glameow, Skitty, Shinx, and Purrloin following Archer around. He loves cats, sure, but this is a bit much!]
[...He may or may not have started carrying around one of those Purrloin though. It's only because he doesn't have one, it's not like he actually likes it or anything...!!]

It's interesting to me. It's a part of your life, of course it's going to be interesting.

[It's clear from Kimbley's tone that he has no idea why that's being said, but he doesn't really want to dwell on it, either. Let's just. Move on, yeah?]
I lived with my parents and my sister. They died when I was a teenager, I joined the military soon after. I wasn't doing much with myself before that, other than studying alchemy; school kind of wasn't an issue anymore after a while - they kindly informed me that I could get the hell out - so that's what I was doing full time until shit hit the fan.
That's about it.
no subject
...You didn't get along well with your parents, did you?
[He suspects he knows what happened to them. It should terrify him. It doesn't.]
no subject
Not at all.
no subject
no subject
Of course they did.
no subject
[Archer's tone is curious; he's genuinely interested in what happened here. A crime like that should have landed Kimbley in jail far earlier.]
no subject
It was a really tragic accident, that's all. I had an eyewitness and everything.
no subject
...Your poor sister.

[Archer totally believes you.]
...Of course not.
[Totally.]
no subject
That's why she was pretty pissed when I ended up joining the military not too long after, though. I guess I don't blame her for that much.
no subject
I can see that. She must have felt like you were abandoning her.
[He can sympathize with that at least.]
no subject
[.......]
That would pretty much be why she hated you.
no subject
[So a similar feeling, at least.]
Yes, well. You've already covered what Ishbal was like, and I believe I know most of what happened after you escaped from prison. Is there anything else you think I should know?
no subject
There's literally nothing else to cover, is there.
no subject
[Anyway, he doesn't want to talk about Liore. He can't remember everything that was said last time - but he does remember Kimbley saying he didn't blame him for it. That's all Archer wants to know in regards to Liore. He's fine not knowing the rest of the details.]
[Which means that, yes, that's really all there is, right?]
If I think of anything else, I'll ask you. But for now... well, aren't you interested in seeing what else I've gotten here? It's been months; I've acquired some very interesting things.
no subject
Yeah, sure. Since you're obviously dying to show me anyway.
no subject
[First up is the highest-leveled thing on his team, Lucena. You should probably recognize the pimp bird, and she tips her pimp hat in recognition. The other five are all new and rather weak in comparison to her; Archer was preparing to go train in the grass for a little bit.]
[Metang, Scyther, Skarmory, and two Sevipers are called out. Archer pauses while he glances over all of them, then frowns at one of the Sevipers.]
Bishop, knock it off.
[In a flash, the Seviper transforms back into a (very pouty) Zorua.]
I've acquired several new ones - these are weaker and still in training.
no subject
You know, I really shouldn't be surprised that most of these are either made of knives or some variation on a fuckin' tank.
[He looks at the Skarmory skeptically for a moment.]
That one manages to be both.
[However, what's interesting him right now is the little hellfox over there - if he tries to touch you will you bite him, bb...]
no subject
[Can he rename is Metang "bittytank" because that would probably be more fitting...]
Ah, be careful with that one.
[Oh please, Bishop's a good boy! He just doesn't like Archer for... no apparent reason. He'll just be brofacing your hand there, Kimbley! Which earns all the lineface from his trainer! No big deal~]
no subject
did he just get brofaced oh god he did
this thing is adorable what the hell]
Why do you say that?
[no really it's brofacing him, why are you warning him about it
do you like pettings, bro, because you are getting pettings]
no subject
[And he loves pettings! He'll take all the pettings and will purr really loudly!]
[...Archer thought he was a fox, not a cat...]
Well, he doesn't seem to like most people.
[...Rude little bitch.]
