[The video opens to a nondescript room, focused on nine different types of eggs, all neatly propped up by pillows. Curled around the eggs is a sleepy-looking Persian, who seems rather annoyed that her nap has been interrupted by the video. Archer isn't in the shot.]

I have been experimenting with Pokémon breeding. Sheska has assisted me. These are the results.

[To those who actually know Archer, the strange, clipped speech might seem a bit odd. He hasn't been feeling well lately, no big deal!]

The following Pokémon are available for sale: Shinx, Murkrow, Zubat, Porygon, Hoothoot, Mime Jr, Pawniard, Litwick, and Audino. I also have two hatched Onixes for sale. The majority of these have egg moves as well. If you're interested, I can give you the prices. Thank you for your time.

He is a decent battling partner. Perhaps you're the sort who would prefer to travel with someone regardless of past history. I can't say for certain; I'm sure you have your reasons.

Would it have made it better if he took a different woman, then?

Just admit it, Archer; you'd rather he hadn't taken anyone. Because god forbid he have friends that aren't you.

[Archer doesn't respond right away. Instead he glances somewhere off-screen and stays silent. Whatever it is he's doing inside his head seems to have calmed him down a bit for the moment. He's not going to get any information out of Emmy if he snaps at her.]

...Yes. Fine. I would have preferred if he had gone alone and returned alone. I would have preferred it if he had never spoken to you again. Is that what you want to hear?

[He doesn't sound angry, but the words are clipped. If anything, he sounds tired.]

He's not like the other version I knew. I wasn't expecting him to make other friends. But he has, and he prefers some of those friends over me.

[That last part sounds incredibly bitter.]

So what? I've made a mistake. Would you like to continue bitching at me about it? I can assure you, it won't do any good. I've already apologized.

[Well, he left an apology on Kimblee's voicemail. Same thing, right?]

He wouldn't prefer his other friends over you if you didn't try to control him so much. It's a fairly simple puzzle to solve, Mr Archer.

[[And she'll leave that...that 'other version' thing alone; that sounds like something she should ask Mr Kimblee about.]]

Why are you so convinced Mr Kimblee and I are in any sort of romantic relationship, anyway? Isn't my word good enough? I'm sure he must have told you the same.

[Yes, he attempted to control Kimblee. He knows it didn't work and it backfired horribly. He's still not entirely sure why he was so intent on controlling Kimblee, but now isn't the time to ponder that.]

What else could it be? The two of you were very close from the beginning. He's never shown this much interest in anyone.

And yet we've both told you that we're just friends, nothing more. What do you think we're doing; running off to romantically liaise behind your back?

If I was in a romantic relationship with Mr Kimblee, Mr Archer, I wouldn't have any problem telling you to your face. As it stands, I'm not.

[Again Archer goes quiet. He doesn't believe that at all, but at the same time, he has no proof to the contrary. He won't get any information like this.]

[The silence lasts on his end for far too long, but Archer doesn't seem to be entirely aware of it. When he speaks again it's drastically different; he hesitates and sounds almost worried.]

...How... is he? How has he been doing?

He's fine.

[[Oh, she knows the game you're playing, Archer, and she's not a pawn you can manipulate for information.]]

You don't believe me about what I've said regarding our relationship, do you?

[Well, that's not very much information. She could be lying to him, but Archer doesn't see any reason why she would.]

[[Perhaps if you weren't driving her nuts, Archer, she'd be a bit more forthcoming! Maybe even quiz you about that whole passing out in the cave thing!]]
